I'm sorry to hear about this. It might be because of AVG Firewall. I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK and check if you can share the files with enabled AVG Internet Security.

I use win 7 Home edtion.
After I upgrade to full version. I cant sharing files at the PC who has the AWG Full version.
When I got the Free version I could sharing files with the others Pc in the network. I got a homenetwork.
