So let me repeat this from my previous post: "but when I try to Uninstall nothing happens." Nothing. The AVG software says "are you sure" and I am absolutely sure. Then it says it is uninstalling, does nothing, and locks up my laptop. Nothing in the link you sent works, and I've tried it all!!
Now what?
Latest update, 9/29/22 that took DAYS to install, has really fouled things up. AVG programs can't connect to the internet, although my work laptop and cell phone are connected to the same WI-fi with no issues. Secure browser opens, slowly, but the one website I accessed said my browser needed updated. Now can't access any websites. Google Chrome won't open at all. AVG can't tell me if I have the most recent version because as mentioned before it isn't connecting to the internet, "online content not available, check your internet connection." Ready to scrap the whole thing even with the money I've spent but when I try to Uninstall nothing happens. Help!
