Can't activate anti virus

Could you share the screenshot of the error message you received to assist you further?

I have AVG Internet security for 3 pcs' for one year that I bought in mid 2018. I installed it on my desktop last year and now wish to install it on my girlfriend's laptop but when I enter the activation code it tells me that the activation code is already used despite having only used it once. 

Can anyone help?
