Can't activate AVG VPN paid version in AVG Security 2017

I am already logged in on the management console. I have been chatting yesterday with two people about it, as one person lost the connection. I was told to log out then log in again but this was done from a panel brought up by instructions at the web site. I also followed the info in the FAQs on how to activate the VPN by going to the management panel and logging in with the Connect, and couldn't find it again but realised it was because it'd changed to my email address because I was already logged in.

I had the new AVG Security installed by remote a few days ago, and bought theis VPN the next day only because it brought up a panel asking me if I wanted it, so I decided to get it. It seems others  are having the same problem too. It's all paid for.

I can't be doing this uninstalling and reinstalling as it's too stressful, I'd rather have help or someone do  it. I'm sure it's simpler than that. They gave me a toll free number to call the Techs which I have to do yet, tomorrow now. I don't know what you mean by the Control panel. Do you mean from the management console? It hasn't been installed, it's still greyed out, waiting to be activated. I noticed at the bottom of my conformation email after buying the VPN, it had pictures of the management consoles and it said that it would activate itself and I wouldn't have to do anything. Obviously not so.

I regret the inconvenience caused. Please be informed that there is no license number for AVG Secure VPN, you have to activate your Secure VPN by logging into your AVG MyAccount via AVG management console. I would suggest you to uninstall AVG Secure VPN from the control panel and then reinstall it from AVG Zen. Please check if AVG Secure VPN is activated. If you still face any issues, please contact us.

I can't activate this,  even though I've logged in from the interface. It's been 24hrs now since I bought it on 3rd July, 2017, as I did online help with a person, well two people actually as their connection kept dropping out. They had me log out then log in again and said to wait 24hrs as it wasn't showing on their system yet. I've paid for it (2yrs licence) with my PayPal and have had the confirmation email from AVG and from my PayPal that the payment was sent. It says there is no licence number for my VPN in I think my products in My Account, but in my Order History it shows that I have bought it.

I had the new updated AVG Security combined with AVG Tune-up for 2017 installed by remote help on same day before I bought the VPN, which I only decided to buy because a pop-up came up to ask me. I bought both of these nearly 2yrs ago, due for renewal at end of year and the tune-up in March 2018. I have some freeze-ups too with the new version. I was running the paid AVG Security for 2015 before.

I have the same problem with paid VPN.  I paid for two years via PayPal and my VPN control panel says I only have five days left.  What a rip off.
