Can't activate firewall

I'm sorry to hear about this, it might be because of any third party protection/security program (which is conflicting with AVG) or any windows update. I have sent you an email, please follow the email instruction to connect with us remotely, we will check with your installed AVG program and we will help you to activate AVG Firewall.

Hi,
I have just renewed my subscription to avg and am now unable to activate my firewall. Avg keeps telling me to reset my computer have done this numerous times already. I have gone into avg settings to try and sort this out. I have tried to add the ip address to see if that would enable me to activate the firewall but it will not let me add anything at all. Also I keep having a blank white box popping up on my screen which the computer tells me is avg, but this box does nothing as I have left it for twenty minutes and nothing happened. I never had any of this trouble with the previous version and it getting a little frustrating. Does anyone know why I can't get the firewall on ,any help would be great.

Could you provide a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of your AVG interface to assist you further? Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Please also let us know if it is a paid version or free version of AVG that you are using.
