Can't activate TuneUp

Hi. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and formatted the computer. Today I installed tuneup, it started a trial version and asked me for a Product Key. I didn't have one and learned that with a subscription, there's no Product Key. To login I had to install AVG, I logged in, and still wouldn't activate my TuneUp. I tried to reinstall it to see if the problem would solve… but to my surprise, not only it didn't work, but my trial period was reduced to 0 (!) days. Login doesn't activate it, keeps asking for a product key that I don't have. I made sure I had my subscription, and it's active until 2016. What can I do?

PS: And even worst that that is that the support chat and all that didn't work (and it's difficult to find). Help and FAQs only cover the case of having a Product Key and how to get one (that doesn't work when having a subscription). Seriously, how can it be so difficult? If I don't get an answer soon from here I'm asking for a refund.​
