I had the anti virus protection installed on my Android phone and now am unable to connect to the home wifi. I've uninstalled the app, still unable to connect. Has anyone else had the same problem or know how to resolve it?

Thank you for the more information. The issue occur after uninstalling AVG protection also so I request you to contact your Internet Service provider and check with this issue. They will help you to fix this issue.

However, please let us know if you're receiving any error message while connecting to Wi-Fi or what exactly happen when you try to connect to the home Wi-Fi.

Hi. It tries to connect, says connecting, then it says connected, no internet and then after about 5 seconds I lose the connection. I read it may be to do with a firewall blocking access. When I'm in other locations I can connect to a private WiFi no problem it's just the home wifi. This never happened before I installed AVG. I'm using a One plus 3t android phone. We use 2 laptops in the house. Neither have AVG and we don't have any problems connecting . It's just my phone that is affected and the common denominator here is AVG!
