Can't connect to realtime protection

I have the same issue with AVG after upgrade to MacOS Sierra. Even after uninstall / reinstall it does not work. Will not run Real Time Scanner and login to AVG account does not work.

Seems to be a general issue with AVG and MacOS Sierra. Or has anybody got this combination running?

Hello Matt,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
To assist you better, could you please let us know the AVG program installed in your computer along with the Operating system?
Thank you.

Hello,
We would like to inform you that Mac OS Sierra It's beta version of the OS and it's not officially supported. We can guarantee the full functionality once the final version of the OS is released. Thank you.

Mac OS Sierra is now officially launched and no longer in beta. The issue of having no realtime protection is still there despite reinstalling the AVG Anti Virus software.

I'm using MacOS Sierra 10.12 and it is no longer in "Beta".

I have the same problem:

The FREE AVG Anti-Virus for Mac and AVG Cleaner for Mac, will NOT Connect to my AVG Account either to login to my account, create a new account or accept a "invite code" to the my Zen Network as the priveious version of did!

FREE AVG Anti-Virus for Mac : Gives a "Failed" error everytime.
&
FREE AVG Cleaner for Mac : Just Quits!

Come on AVG you ARE better than this!

When attempting to connect to the AVG MyAccount it can't connect, however I know I am using the correct e-mail and password (I've connected on the website...)

Just wondering why I can't connect from the AVG Anti-Virus or the AVG Cleaner apps? Could it be that you can't currently work alongside the Sierra OS Beta?

I am using MacOS Sierra 10.12 Beta (16A238m) - and then trying to connect to AVG Anti-Virus Version 2015.0 (4818) and AVG Cleaner (2015.0.4764)

Kishore,

I followed your instructions and there is still no realtime protection. Please advise.

Hello Matt,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
The AVG program is not compatible for beta version of operating system. Once the full version of Mac OS Sierra, is released, the AVG will be compatible and work effectively.
Thank you.
