Usually, the uninstallation process of AVG would require admin privileges to perform the action. Hence, your MAC would prompt you to enter your MAC's login credentials (not AVG My Account).
Would you be so kind to clarify whether you've entered the MAC's login credential & got the message as wrong credentials?

I have avg internet security on my pc … I already had an avg free version on my mac which I had set up a long time ago … I now have my mac connected to my avg network on my account … I now want to delete AVG from my MAC but when I get the uninstall box come up I put my main user name and password in the boxes and it doesnt work , just flashes like they are the wrong username and password … I know when I first put this this on my mac if I may have used a differnet password and email , but I no longer have these… Why doesn't it work with my main email and password that I bought the subscription with ?
