HI Guys,
I cant seem to revert from AVG protection back to AVG Free, I have tried the AVG removal tool and reinstalling from scratch but it doesn't give me the options to install free over Internet protection, just goes ahead and installs internet security.
I have followed the instructions on
| AVG
but cant get the option to downgrade to show up at all.
I am running windows 10 home x64

Please reboot your device http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode in safe mode and refer this article to uninstall http://avgclick.me/UninstallAVGAV your AVG program.
Then kindly remove the AVG folders manually as suggested below. Go to Run window (press windows key and R key simultaneously) and type the following comments to delete the folders.
1. Type “Temp” and press enter, remove all the files.
2. “%temp%” and remove all the files.
3. %appdata% - Remove all the AVG folders.
4. %programdata% - Open the AVG folder and remove the old files. Please go to c: drive-> program files and delete the AVG files. Reboot your device in normal mode, proceed with the installation of AVG Free http://www.avg.com/us-en/download and check for the issue, thank you.
