Hello,
MS Outlook is playing up
I can email my usual contacts but it refuses to send emails to a specific email address in the Netherlands. Every time I try it bounces back with a message
The following recipient(s) cannot be reached: the error message is :
554 5.7.1 Message rejected due to possible spam content
But the message does not have any spam in it!
It happens even when I try and say "Hi, how are you" with no attachments or anything
I can't understand this when I can email my regular contacts without a problem
And when I ask the intended receiver, they say it is not their spam filter or anything to do with them; They are convinced it's me!
Please advise me what to do?
Thanks
:
Hi Gerard,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Our expertise are limited to AVG. The possibilities for an email fail to reach recipient are :
Invalid, mistyped email address, e-mail marked as spam by e-mail provider, recipient's mail server blocked the e-mail, sending mail server listed on a blacklist or recipient doesn't have the time to respond.
If you suspect that AVG is causing the issue, you can disable AVG protection temporarily or individual AVG components as mentioned in this article to check.
