Can't get AVG to Fully Install

Could you please be informed that if you have installed any third party Antivirus in your computer, if so uninstall it, since it may conflict the AVG program. I recently bought a new laptop and have been trying to get AVG Free to install and it will get to the point of resarting my computer and then when it goes to finish installing I get the error code. 0xc0070643.
