Can't get AVG to recognise the new license number

I understand the inconvenience.
I request you to provide the (screenshot) of AVG window that says "License is not recognized" to assist further.

Paid by DD, had AVG on the PC for years, got asked to input a license number but it keeps saying it's not a valid license number. tried I, l,1 for all the straight lines and zero and "O" for all the round bits! still can't get it to recognise it.  AVG please stop using O and 0 and I l 1 because it's not obvious what character you mean. I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct characters capital I and capital O, so what's the issue?
