I bought a year's subscription AVG VPN ( secure encrypted browsing) to install on laptop, Windows, to be used during travel. central and Eastern Europe, (Albania, Croatia, Bosnia-Hercegovina , Serbia, where I have had a problem with using wifi , vulnerability in the past. I am not able to download install as Mozilla and Chrome both say that the site that the install link takes you to to install on the machine, has no verifiable certificate and is likely extremely insecure, and leave me vulnerable to identity theft and worse. There is an override option, but at each step moving through the override, the warnings get stronger and stronger, finally stating, no legitimate business would lead you to install this, go to its site. So I have not made the final override step and am wondering what this is all about.
