We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. We suggest you to use AVG Clear tool to remove the AVG program installed and re-install the AVG Anti-Virus free.
Please run AVG Clear tool and AVG Remover tool to remove AVG and its traces, please use the following instructions
1 Use the link https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe to run the AVG Clear tool.
2 Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
3 Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
4 Select the installed version of AVG, click Uninstall, then click Restart computer.
After reboot, Open C drive and look for folder "AVG Remover" and delete it manually, also delete "AVG" folder in "Program files (x86)" in C Drive.

Hi there,
Somehow I clicked on something that gave me a free trial of the AVG Full Protection (no idea how) and now that the trial has expired, I want to go back to the free version but it doesn't seem to let me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything AVG 3 times now and each time I keep get a screen that has pink writing instead of green writing saying the trial has expired and to renew. All I want to do is scan my PC but I don't seem to be able to.
Can anyone help?
