Can't get rid of annoying pop ups

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
If you have installed the AVG Protection Free program you have will have the "ZEN" has its interface.
Zen is the interface for our latest Multidevice product.
It doesn't have license number even for the paid version. It's installation is only by entering the AVG my account credentials.

The options that you viewed is on the "Zen" interface and not on the program.
Please open AVG Zen interface and click on "AVG Antivirus" circle on it and it will open the AVG Antivirus Free dashboard.
From it please click on Options and select Advanced settings.
To the left click on Appearance and to the right you can find options to set frequency for the AVG Marketing popups.

Yes, I'm using the FREE product.  However, the help instructions tell me that if I go to Options, then Advanced Settings, then to Appearance I can change the frequency.  Under Options, I do NOT have any topic for Advanced Settings at all, much less Appearance.  The only topics under Options are:

About AVG

The FREE product has now also installed a ZEN icon and THAT is also causing tons of pop ups.  It's like spam, and there is a cog for Settings. With that cog are:
Device Settings
Online Support
Help
About AVG Zen

When I click on Device Settings, it shows my laptop but I can't do anything from that screen at all.  Surely there is a way to turn the pop ups off.  And why is there an AVG Zen icon installed on my laptop?  I didn't request that at all.
