Can't get rid of notifications

This is regarding a Free Trial to AVG Tune Up that I cancelled and have no intention of activating.

How can I completely deinstall it so I don't have these ongoing annoying messages popping up asking me to activate.

I went to settings and see no place to turn off notifications. I prefer to deinstall it.
