Hi

I've the same problem and even I removed the program with remover, I can't reinstall AVG

i have the same problem but my case is after upgrade to window 10
have contact the AVG support ollow the step. but till now still not solve.​

Folks, I faced the same issue, when I was broswing this thread, remembered that I did not "Run as Administrator". I did that and the exception message did not show up and install is going through.

Right click on the AVG…exe and select "Raun As Administrator"

I have the same issue even after running the removal program, I am using 32bit but have tried running both, any further advice?
