Can't log on to bank

That did not work.

Every time I try to log on to my bank it tells me try another browser, however I get that message on all of the browsers I have tried.  I turn my VPN off, because I was told that would block me from getting on to the bank site.  The bank cannot help me either, so I figured it was something with AVG.  I don't have a problem logging on from my phone or my desktop.  Just my laptop that has AVG on it.  Any suggestions?

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. We will check and help you to resolve it. Could you please confirm whether you have AVG Anti-track installed in your device? If yes, we can add your bank site under allowed list option in AVG Anti-track. 

AVG anti-track remove cache and cookies when the user try to access anytime. But, some secure sites like Bank needs cache and cookies in order to load it. So, we have option to add that URL in allowed list.

If you want to stop AVG AntiTrack clearing cookies from certain websites, add these websites to your Allowed websites:

  • Open AVG Anti-track program. Then, click the Allowed websites tile on the AVG AntiTrack dashboard.
  • Add a website to your list of Allowed websites using either method below:
  • Select a website from the Choose from popular options drop-down menu.
  • Enter a website URL (for example www.example.com) into the left text box, then click Add.
