Thanks, Aviansh, however that is not the problem. The programme works fine but when I try to print it comes up with the error message. I could send you a screen shot of the error message which comes up, but as I have said on my previous message it starts with "System.UnauthorizedAccessException:"
There surely must be a way of finding a list of programs/actions which have been blocked by AVG?
Thanks.
Hello Colin,
May I know what is the name of that program you are experiencing issues? Do you remember what was the message on AVG pop up which you have chosen Yes to?
I have AVG Tune Up Unlimited. When I try to print from one particular program I keep getting an Error Report starting "System.UnauthorizedAccessException:" then a whole stream of stuff. This started happening a few weeks ago when I think I inadvertently pressed "yes" instead of "no" when an AVG pop-up came up whilst using the program which I am now having problems printing from. I need to reverse this s I can start printing from the program, so was wondering if anyone can help with this please? Thanks.
Thank you for providing the information.
Using AVG PC TuneUp, you can disable programs from running in the background to reduce load on your CPU thus improving your PC performance. If that was what you have done, please click on "Speed Up" component in AVG PC TuneUp interface. Then click on "Disable background programs" to open list of programs. Scroll down to see the list of programs which were already put to 'Sleep'. If 12pay is in that list, click on Awake and check if you can print.
Colin,
I regret for the inconvenience caused. You can revert the changes by AVG TuneUp unlimited as per the steps mentioned in this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-revert-changes-done-by-PC-TuneUp ) and check if your payrol program works fine.
Thank you.
It is a program called 12pay which is a payroll program (I use it for my payroll). I cannot remember what the AVG pop up was unfortunately (but I think it was something like "do you want to permanently stop this program from doing …?"). There must be a way of finding out on the AVG interface which programmes have been blocked, and then unblock them? Thanks.
