Can't reinstall because of traces of old version

Hi Matt.
Are you unable to uninstall the older version from control panel?
If you can and there are some files left in your C drive, you can delete them manually.

Hi there,

I can see this has been asked before but can't find a definite answer. I'm trying to reinstall AVG Antivirus but can't because theres traces of an old version. I don't know how to get rid of everything so I can reinstall it. Any help please? Thanks

Thanks for your quick response. I'm running on MacOS so I'm not sure if there's an equivalent. Doing a search can find nothing AVG related so there's nothing visible I can uninstall.
