I inadvertently had AVG Antivirus Free quarantine the SanDiskSecureAcessV2_win.exe file from my SanDisk Cruzer Glide and am unable to restore it from quarantine. I followed the directions given in AVG Free help but the procedure does not work. When I click on the box next to the file or the Select All box, the file highlights momentarily but then goes back to unhighlighted.again. Clicking restore in the menu next to the delete button does nothing. Any suggestions? Is restore not a function that AVG Free can perform? Any help is appreciated - I have lost a huge amount of important data!

I followed the instructions to add the file path to exception. I then plugged the SanDisk USB into my computer before going to the Quarantine menu. Lo and behold the SanDiskSecureAcessV2_win.exe file appeared. And I am able to access the secure area. When I selected Quarantine from the AVG menu, the SanDiskSecureAcessV2_win.exeit still shows up. And my attempt to restore still works as I described in my original post. So I'm wondering - did adding the file to exception cause it to be restored?
