Can't run scan. Asking for password

I am having the same issue. I have a a paid subscription to AVG and this mornig when I tried to run a scan, for the first time ever, AVG is asking for a password that I've never created:
Error message asking for non-existent password when trying to run scan.
Given that this is a paid subscription (I'll be happy to send my order number), I'd like this answered AND resolved ASAP.

We understand that you receive a prompt to enter password when you try to run scan from AVG interface. Please send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the password screen you get. When you receive the password screen, please tab "Enter" key and check if you are able to initiate the scan. And let us know if you have set password for AVG scan before you reinstalled AVG.

I had to remove my avg free and then redownload it. If I click scan computer it asks for a password. I try the password for here. Says wrong password. Theres no place on that to click forgot password.
Mary, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
