Cant save word documents come up as Read only

I can not save or save as any documents  It says document is read only.  My computer had to reboot and warning said  STOP CODE:ATTEPTED WORK TO READ ONLY MEMORY.   what faile: avgVmmsys

Could you share the screenshot of the warning message?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Also disable the AVG temporarily using the article and check if you are able to save documents.
