Can't send emails since installing VPN

Using mac mail on a desktop I can receive mail but not send. I have a wifi network and have made the router a trusted network. I can send emails using a gmail account but not using my optusnet account. Can send email when VPN is turned off.

I do thank you for trying to help me solve my issue however I will continue with my refund request. I just want a product that would be problem free from the start.

Still did not work. I am requesting a refund as this appears to be just too complicated for me.
