Can't stop AVG Popping up

Hello Jennifer,

You've reached the AVG community support forum.
We regret the inconvenience this has caused you. We'll certainly look into this and help you. Please click on 'see details' in the threat notification that you receive from AVG & then share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.

Meanwhile, please ensure that the AVG program has the latest patches applied to it :

Open AVG program - click on refresh icon beside virus definitions, at bottom left corner - Restart computer after successful update & check. Does the threat pop-up appear when you're trying to access a particular website using a certain browser or irrespective of them?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am getting a message Threat secured. We've moved to your Quarantine because it was infected with PwrSh:Agent-AX[Rat]
Threat name PwSh:Agent-AX[Rat]
Threat type Remote Acess Trojan…
Process C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe
Detected by File Shield
Status Moved to Quaratine
Option Report as false positive

I just installed AVG today because I knew when I downloaded a virus…just I'm an idiot. I was not paying attention. But how do I stop this pop up. I paid for a year of AVG. Do i just ditch it? I checked the Quarantine folder. Nothing is there. I researched this file and it appears to be a legit file. This is driving me nuts.
