Can't stop AVG service and can't delete AVG folders

Hello there,

Some time ago I tried the free AVG version, but wasn't happy with all the popups.

So I decided to remove AVG in the right way. Now a few weeks later I noticed an $AVG folder on all my drives, I also can't delete the remaining AVG folders in my Program files-folder and I even can't stop the service from AVG.
I would love to completely remove all of this but nothing is working.
I know my computer stuff, but without any luck so far.

If any of you could give me some tips or sent me in the right direction, I will be very grateful

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
As Alan suggested we request you to try using our AVG remover tool once.
1) To download our AVG remover tool, please click on this link: http://af-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTE: Once the remover tool done with the progress please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG remover" folder.
