1. Open AVG Internet Security and click "Menu" on the top right of the program.
2. Click "Settings".
3. Click "Troubleshooting".
4. Scroll down to the "Reset All Settings" section and Click on the "Reset To Default" option.
Once the above actions have been performed, please restart your PC and check if the issue persists.

I shut off my computer every night after use. When I start it I always check Windows Security before opening any internet. Firewall was not showing so I restarted my computer which usually takes care of it. I have done this twice. So I went to manage providers and it came up that AVG firewall was turned off. I opened AVG and yes it said that Enhanced Firewall was turned off. I hit the turn on button and nothing is happening. What can I try next?
Thank you for your quick response. I actually unplugged my computer and internet modem around 9:00 am while I worked outside and ran some errands. I plugged everything back in around 12:30 pm and let it reboot. I then turned my computer back on around 1:00 pm and waited for about 15 minutes and then checked the windows security and the firewall was fine. I did open AVG and firewall is on.
