Can't uninstall AVG Free 2015 to start again

Richard, Try using the 32 or 64bit Remover (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities) [Scroll Down] whichever suits your system. If you're not sure about 32 or 64bit on your system have a look @ this link (http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-free-forum?sec=thread&act=show&id=140471#post_140471).

Hi Alan
Thank you, your advice was spot on. The 32-bit uninstaller in the utilities worked just fine and after I had reinstalled AVG 2015 Free Edition and it had updated, I ran a scan and found my machine is healthy and protected.

My AVG 2015 free version wasn't running despite saying it was up to date. I tried uninstalling it to start again but it won't uninstall. "Cant delete AVGIDSAgent" even though I am logged on as an administrator. I tried downloading the uninstaller but it just sits there for hours saying it is downloading updates.

Any suggestions?
