Cant uninstall AVG web tuneup (I've tried using the removal too, no success)

Please reboot your device in safe mode:  http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-reboot-your-computer-into-Safe-Mode and then proceed with remover tool http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG .

Can I get some support from AVG on un-installing the web tuneup tool

I went into settings>apps>avg web tuneup>uninstall and nothing happened. A different thread on here has a removal tool link in the comments for the same problem, I used that but it didnt work.

Clearing out everything manually in safemode did the trick, thanks!

There's no error to show you or anything like that, im guessing you know what the uninstall page looks like in settings on windows 10?
a screenshot seems unneccesary for my situation
