Please run the AVG Remover tool which will remove the old traces of the AVG TuneUp. Once it is done, please restart the computer and go for a fresh installation.

Regarding the remover tool, please use this link to download the remover tool http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe

Run the file and click on run any way, if it doesn't show any products.

so for some reason my pc was using the old version of tune up even though i have renewed my subscription. so then it tells me my trial has expired. so i logged on to my avg account to make sure i was subscribed, which i was, so i click the install tune up, which it did and works just fine but it kept the old version on my pc and i can not uninstall it telling me i do not have administrative permission. how do i uninstall old version. Also the old version keeps popping up to tell me to upgrade, very annoying
