I am sorry to hear that Adobe is blocked by AVG. Please open the AVG Internet Security installed in your computer and click on Menu->Ransomware Protection. From here check if Adobe is added to block list, if it is, then please remove it from block list and add the program to allow list and check if that fix the issue. If you face any difficulties, please send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the error message you receive when you try to open Adobe program.
I have the same problem and added Acrobat to the allowed list. There is no error message, just the app doesn't start. The same for PDF Architect.
The problem started when I purchased and installed AVG Ultimate.
