Please make sure that you have a strong WiFi or internet connection on your mobile phone. Then tap on the locate button on my.avg.com and check if your mobile phone is detected.

can't locate my phone on my.avg.com. tried what was suggested in other posts. nothing works. the phone is right beside me. All the obvious stuff enabled.
