I see that others also cannot use BBC iPlayer. It doesn't matter if we make our location inside the UK. It still does not work. Yet, these threads say that the problem was solved. If the problem is solved, perhaps let us know what the solution was. There is no solution posted hre. What is the purpose of the VPN? Please help!

I set my vpn to United Kingdom so I could access British content. The bbc iplayer All4 etc are supposed to think im in the UK.
That was why I got the vpn upgrade.
I changed my VPN to London United Kingdom
but the British apps BBC iplayer and all4 will show me content but not play shows.
They arent seeing my location as United Kingdom.
i upgraded to AVG VPN to be able to do that.
Do I have to do something else?

when i tried to connect to optmal location it wouldnt connect. I tried with Toronto again and it doesnt connect vpn either

i gave up on trying to stream UK content and changed location to Miami as suggested.
I cant watch on any streaming service.
i tried watching a movie on FreeFlixHQ and PopcornTime and it wont work at all.

Both freeflixHQ and popcorntime accept vpn and i know people who use it with a variety of vpn providers.
it worked fine with Expressvpn when i used their free trial.
