Hello Thomas,
I understand that you want to scan a specific folder/files from the AVG Antivirus user interface. Am I correct?
Best regards,
Alok.
Well, "want" is a bit strong You are correct though, the possibility to scan specific targets as opposed to all or nothing could be very beneficial. I reckon that users are less scanning themselves, because they are blown off by the idea that they would have to scan everything. In addition to that it would be highly usefull if that specific scan could also be triggered by a mac OS Finder Contextmenu service. You'd right-click any item in the Finder and under Services there would be a Menu item called "Scan with AVG …".
Hi.
I'd like to request a basic functionality for the Mac AntiVirus Client: Search a specific folder. As of right now, it's just all or nothing. And while you are at it, it would be wildly convenient to integrate that specific scan possibility into the services context menu dropdown: Right-click a volume -> Services -> Scan with AVG
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
