Let's have a look at it together, are you able to access the internet when AVG is disabled?

Right click on AVG icon under system tray next to clock and click on toggle bar to disable it temporarily.

You can add the application to exception list. Open Internet Security -> Menu -> Settings -> Exception. Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu at the top right -> Settings -> Components -> Enhanced Firewall -> Customize -> System Rules -> make sure all the task has been enabled.

Again, Firewall -> Customize -> Network Profiles -> change all the profiles from public to Private and check your internet connectivity .

How do I  allow a program that internet security is blocking to access the internet?
