Please refer to this article & wake the 'Gotomypc' program from sleep.
Once it's been awakened, please click on the 'ignore' button right next to it, so that it will be allowed to continue running in the background.
If the issue still persists after ignoring the program, please let us know.

How can I prevent AVG tuneup from putting Gotomypc to sleep. After I do a remote restart using gotomypc from another computer the gotomypc app does not start because avg tuneup has put in in sleep mode. So, gotomypc has to be restarted from the host computer but since a restart loses the gotomypc connection I can't start it unless I'm at the host computer.
The AVG tuneup app usually asks before it puts an app in sleep mode when it's not in use but I don't recall it asking regarding Gotomypc.
