My present Desktop computer stopped working 3 days ago. I am in the process of buying a new Desktop computer. How do I change my AVG Ultimate License from the old computer to the new one? Do I just install AVG Ultimate on the new computer and the license will automatically change from old to new computer?

We're glad to clarify this for you.
Usually, when transferring an AVG subscription from an old device to new one, we recommend that all traces of AVG be removed/uninstalled from the older device.
However, if your old computer has stopped working, you can proceed with installing, activating AVG Ultimate (Multi-Device) on your new device.
