Charges for automatic renewal that I did not ask for! How do I stop this?

I finally noticed a charge on my credit card for DRI AVG services that I thought I had cancelled more that a year ago. I want that recurring renewal cancelled immediately. I do not, nor do I intend to, use AVG security in the future. I have already contacted my Credit Card to refuse any charges that originate with this company.
