Trying to find an answer for why firewall won't update - posted question on here few hours ago and also trying to use tech support chat but just get "loading page" continually. Anyone got any ideas how to get an answer from AVG?

Why do you need a screenshot? I've told you the problem and the complete error message.

Rob, It's for ref to enable AVG Technologies personnel to see that you've posted twice re the same subject!

OK, tried again for "Reset the AVG Firewall Configuration" but same error message when "Reset to default" - brings up same error message of "Firewall cannot start, because an error has occured in communication with a driver. Please contact AVG technical support".

The "Reinitialize AVG Firewall" suggestions are for Windows Vista, 7 & XP. I'm running Windows 10 OS but I followed the steps and the error message stopped.

What I now get is a "restart required" but no matter how many times i've restarted my PC it still comes up with bloody "restart required"​.​

Sorry to know that. I really appreciate all your patience and efforts. We would request you to uninstall AVG using AVG Removal tool and then you can reinstall it. Please click on the following link to uninstall AVG using AVG Removal tool ( http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe ). Once the uninstallation is completed please have a look at this article  ( http://avgread.me/1bsCjtC ) to reinstall AVG on your computer.
