Hi Bob, I will help you with the issue,
may I know what you mean by target ? do you mean the download folder ?
And which browser you are using ?
please elaborate your issue and we will help you solve it.
Thank you
In August 15 I was seeking help from AVG. The problem was finally fixed following advice from AVG to check the target for the browser to see if there were any letters following the .exe file, and if there were to remove those letters. Unfortunately i can't remember how to find the target box. Can anyone help with such a simple question?
You are most welcome Bob. Please feel free to contact us should you need any assistance. Thank you.

I'm using IE but same applies to Firefox and Google Chrome. I think to find the "target" I should open "tools" then "Internet options" but I have not been able to find it there. What I'm looking for is internetexplorer.exe so that I can check to see if there are any letters after the .exe. I also want to reset my browser to the default options.
