AVG Guru

Hello Sandy,
I am sorry to hear this.
If you have reverted back the settings made by AVG PC TuneUp then the Chrome should work fine.
From the description, it is clear that Chrome is having the well known crash issue.
If this crash appears for Chrome browser, the solution is to reinstall the browser once.
I recommend you to use this removal tool mentioned in this link: https://www.google.com/chrome/cleanup-tool/ for removing the traces of Chrome.

Was advised to put Google Chrome to sleep by Tune Up on Ultimate which resulted in a black screen on chrome and 3 pop ups saying AVG secure Search, Google Input Tools and Adobe Acrobat have all crashed. Have changed settings in Tune Up back but it has not solved the issue. Canmot access settings in Chrome.
