Chrome not opening links after installing avg internet and tune up

Hi Brian,

This isn't the usual behavior of AVG program.
Would you be so kind to let us know if the website works fine in different browser?
Also, let us know if the website is accessible in a new tab in Chrome itself.

I recently bought avg tuneup and virus scan unlimited and since installing I do a search and click on some links and all I get is a blank page.
One link, in particular, is for Amazon.ca
If I open a new window I can go to Amazon.ca but find this very annoying.
Is there a setting I can change or do I have to remove avg and take my losses?

it's opening in a new tab but all I get is the blank screen page cut and paste in a new window works fine.
would it be something that is being put to sleep?
how can i turn back on programs that are being put to sleep?

Brian, could you provide the screenshot of Chrome window that opens a new tab when you try to access the site and the AVG TuneUp program interface?
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
