I uninstalled AVG,connected to Cisco AnyConnect, reinstalled AVG while still connected to Cisco AnyConnect, AVG did not disconnect Cisco AnyConnect. Just to be sure, I logged out of everything, restarted the system, successfully connect to Cisco AnyConnect.
I've run AVG Internet Security for years and have used Cisco AnyConnect successfully for the past year.
Beginning in June 2017, AVG blocks connectivity with Cisco AnyConnect. I uninstall AVG, and CIsco AnyConnect works as intended. Reintall AVG, Cisco AnyConnect is blocked. I've added Cisco AnyConnect.to the exceptions list and still blocked. I've researched the communities, read all teh articles, tried all the suggestions. At this point, I'm ready to dump AVG all together. Any new suggestions greatly appreciated.

In cases where just installed or connecting the first time with CISCO AnyConnect, a window will pop up stating that the "Untrusted VPN Server Blocked!" … Uncheck the box labeled Block connections to untrusted servers (see below) Close the window to save the changes. Reconnect to the VPN via CISCO AnyConnect official site (https://www.upsers.one/)

If possible please provide the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of your AVG dashboard to check and assist you further.
