Hi I have been using the free version of AVG for some time and am currently running the trial version of AVG Internet Security with a view to buying as I like the product. However, it prevents the Cisco VPN from running and I need that to logon to my work server remotely from home. Please tell me how I can enable the Cisco VPN to run.

Sorry to hear about that. Please try to change the AVG Firewall network profile from public to private and check if that helps.
Open AVG Internet security->Menu-> Settings-> Components-> Firewall->Network profiles , and then switch from "Public" to "Private".
