Clearing Browsers and caches but Google still shows history

Hello Colin,

This isn't the expected behaviour from AVG TuneUp.
We request you to run a scan from AVG TuneUp again and make sure that the "Browser data" component is enabled before "Fix and clean".
Keep us updated.

After going on the internet  shopping I open  AVG Tune Up and clear my browsers data and caches but then when I have done so I double check with Google "clear browsing History" and I find the sites I have visited are still there on Google. I then clear them from Google.
Why isn't Tune Up clearing then from my browsers once and for all ?

Hi Midhun
By "make sure Browser data component is enabled" I assume you mean that the named browser(s) box is selected/ticked. I have always done that.
I did an experiment after your email recently on the internet -long session  shopping again - cleared all the browser data a number of times in AVG TuneUp - TuneUP told me "all done" - rescanned in AVG TuneUp and then cleared residual data that appeared within the Google browser - yet when going to Google (History)  thereafter I find  websites stilll showing - on clicking these sites (in Google History) it takes me to those sites. I then cleaned them from within Google.

Thanks for checking, Colin.

To check this further, I have sent an email to connect to our remote experts.

Please check the email and follow the instructions to start the remote session.
