Hello Mercy,
You will receive some advertisement popups or get redirected to other webpages if some of the adware programs have got installed on your computer unknowingly while trying to install any other programs.
You can remove this easily, first go to control panel and click on Programs and Features and in the list of programs search for any tool bar or search bar or any weird programs installed in your computer. If you see some suspicious program please uninstall it.
If you don't see any of such programs then please open your browser and you need to delete the unwanted plugin, extension, toolbar or search bar that is installed in your browser. After removing such things you wont be getting any popups when you browse the internet.
We always recommend you to install only trusted programs and do custom installation to view if any unwanted software is being installed.
Please feel free to contact us should you need any further assistance.
Thank you.
Hello Mercy Distressed,
PROBLEM: click.hypermobiworld.com
Here's what I did…
Put phone in safe mode (per instructions on youtube, etc.)
Used finger to pull down menu from top of phone hiding the Settings cog (top of screen)
Pressed on "Settings" cog.
Scrolled down to "Applications". Press on "Applications".
Pressed on "Application manager".
Scrolled down to the colorful "Chrome" icon. (There were suspiciously two Chromes on there.)
Press on "Chrome" icon.
Disable it. Phone will prompt you to install the fresh "factory" version of Chrome. Do it.
Problem appears to be solved.
Comment: Is it wrong to assume that whoever purposely created this selfish time waster was male, between 20 and 35? Most graffiti taggers are young males, too. Are they related?. Seems to be a problem with our gender… misanthropy that we eventually grow out of due to the influence of good women and older men. I can philosophize about it after solving my problem. It wasn't so 1 hour ago.
