Closing an avg window

It seems that you have installed the free trial in your computer and once it has expired, it =is causing this program. Please open the Windows Task Manager and from there end the task of the AVG and that should close this pop-up. I have an avg pop up window that is not responding to "close" nor "remind me later". Only to "buy now". The trial period of the PRO protection has expired, now this pop up will not close and I need to use my pc for my school work, but it is occupying more than 1 quart of my screen. what do I do? Please.
