I'm using CodeLite to do some work in C++. The build process creates .bat files in the directory:C:\Users\Rich\AppData\Local\Temp. The ,bat files are named things like:
make25656-2.bat
make25388-2.bat
Each build attempt can create a new one of these with some (random) number in the name,
When I run the build, I get a message saying:
"make25656-2.bat files is trying to change or delete the file myfile.txt in your protected Documents folder" It then asks if I would like to "Allow App".
I could allow it every time by that just loads up stuff in the AVG allowed app list.
I have tried putting C:\Users\Rich\Documents\* in the exceptions list, but that does not help.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rich

Appreciate your efforts in sharing us the screenshot, Rich.
Upon checking it, we see that .bat files created are attempting to access the protected files in Documents folder. Hence, AVG is seeking your permission either to allow or block the app from accessing the files.
In this regard, you can try adding C++ program to the allowed app list once & check if it helps.
We're glad to help you with this, Rich.
