com.avg.Antivirus.SystemExtension (570) is using 100% CPU

Hi Roland,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Initially, please clarify whether you've tried reinstalling AVG on your MAC.
If so, then please share us the screenshot of the page that shows the CPU consumption.

Hi I am having the exact same issue. Issue dates since upgrade to Venture MacOS. Can you please help solve this issue. Perhaps software needs a patch to be worked with apple. Issue resolves when rebooting mac but after a short while (less than 30-40min) usually comes back on. com.avg.Antivirus.SystemExtension (570) is using 100% CPU uses 100% processor and cancels my internet connection.

Please review.

I have tried reinstalling it, but surprisingly, this CPU issue only affects the full version, not the basic or free version.

I'll need to go ahead and reactivate the full version, then I'll provide the screenshot.

I'm not sure how to work this thing?

I am on macOS Ventura and this process is spiking my CPU to 100%. I tried rebooting, and it seemed to work for a short while, but the process eventually spikes back to 100% usage again.

Any suggestions on fixing this or is this an AVG bug?
